2020 KING OF HEARTS SCHOLARSHIP PAGEANT
History & Purpose: King of Hearts Scholarship Pageant recognizes collegiate young men who strive for academic excellence and are committed to the welfare of their community by giving them the opportunity to further develop their goals and aspirations.
Participant Benefits: Create strong bonds with other KOH participants as well as members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Leadership Development, Service Opportunities, Campus Involvement, Campus Exposure, and Scholarship!
Beneficiary for KOH2020: TBA
Participants will:
–Participate in weekly community service activities
■Each week, Epsilon Psi will participate in a community service activity in conjunction with KOH gentlemen
■To receive all points, each contestant MUST attend 70% of all community service events
■Contestants are responsible for planning and attending one community service event together
–Attend programs hosted by Epsilon Psi
–Complete and turn in ads for ad book
–Perform an original talent for pageant
–Answer an onstage question for pageant
–Represent themselves & Epsilon Psi in a positive manner
Titles & Prizes:
There will be three titles awarded at the King of Hearts Pageant
-Mr. King of Hearts
-Mr. Delta Sigma Theta
-Mr. Epsilon Psi
Each WINNER will be awarded a financial scholarship
Applications must be completed before January 26, 2020 by 11:59 p.m.
